Program Details
This insurance program is designed specifically for students who need to rent or borrow equipment from their school or outside vendors in order to complete a school sanctioned project.
Our policy provides coverage for Production Equipment including:
- Cameras and camera equipment
- Sound, audio, visual, lighting and grip equipment
- Editing and projection equipment
- Theatrical property including props, sets and wardrobe
- Computer equipment including laptops, monitors
- Any related production equipment
If you lease, rent or borrow this equipment from your school or outside vendor it is included for coverage.

Other Terms and Conditions:
- Each student has their own dedicated limit of insurance (not a shared limit with all other enrolled students)
- Coverage applies for all school sanctioned projects during the designated term of coverage
- You do not need to declare each project, they are automatically covered.
- Coverage is only provided for school sanctioned production activity. Personal productions are excluded.
- Multiple students cannot “share” the insurance. The student that rents the equipment and is evidenced by a certificate of insurance will be covered.
Basic Policy Exclusions
- Wear and Tear
- Dishonest or Criminal acts by you
- Seizure or Destruction of property by order of governmental authority
- Mysterious Disappearance
- Hidden or Latent Defect
- Nuclear Hazard
- War or Military Action
- Pollutants
